Select the Strain

We begin with Saccharomyces cerevisiae, a single-cell organism with a naturally complete amino acid profile. The strain is selected for its high protein yield and clean fermentation behaviour, with no genetic modification.

Precision Fermentation

The yeast is cultivated in a closed, sterile bioreactor, no soil, no pesticides, no heavy metal accumulation pathways. Temperature, pH, and nutrient inputs are controlled to maximise protein density and digestibility.

Isolate & Purify

Cell walls are removed through enzymatic processing, leaving only the pure protein fraction. The result is a 80%+ protein isolate with a PDCAAS of 1.0, equivalent to whey without a single animal-derived ingredient.

Does it taste like yeast or bread?

No. Yevita uses a highly purified yeast protein isolate — the fermentation process removes the yeast flavour compounds entirely. The result is a clean, neutral-tasting powder that blends easily into smoothies, oat milk, or water without any bitterness or aftertaste.

I have a sensitive gut. Will this cause bloating?

Yeast protein is naturally low in FODMAPs and contains no lactose, gluten, or soy — the three most common causes of protein powder-related bloating.
